Verify before you act. Recall details and remedies can change. Our database is updated regularly but may not reflect the most recent revisions. Always confirm with vehiclerecalls.gov.au or your vehicle manufacturer before acting on the information below. Read our full disclaimer.

The defect

On affected vehicles fitted with the 4.2L FSI engine, leaks may occur in the solenoid valve which controls the gearbox heating circuit.

The hazard

Fluid from the heating circuit may reach the connector for the engine control unit via the electrical wiring. If the engine control unit fails, the vehicle may break down. If this occurs while the vehicle is in operation, it may create a traffic hazard.

The remedy

Audi Australia Pty Ltd is contacting all known owners of affected vehicles. Consumers should contact their nearest Audi Dealer to arrange for inspection and repair.
