Verify before you act. Recall details and remedies can change. Our database is updated regularly but may not reflect the most recent revisions. Always confirm with vehiclerecalls.gov.au or your vehicle manufacturer before acting on the information below. Read our full disclaimer.
The defect
The Daytime Running Lamps (DRL) do not function correctly when the turn signal indicator is used.

The hazard
The opposite DRL, rather than the adjacent one, turns off when the turn signal is activated. This results in a non-compliance with Vehicle Homologation requirements (ECE R48). DRLs that do not function as intended make the vehicle less conspicuous in traffic and may increase the potential for a motor vehicle accident.
The remedy
A letter is being sent to affected owners.Chrysler will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the DRL function and repair the wiring if required.
