The defect

A manufacturing defect within the fuel pump may lead to reduced performance and affect the long term durability of the fuel pump.

The hazard

Prolonged use of the motorbike may cause the fuel pump to fail and the vehicle may break down. If this occurs while the vehicle is in operation it may result in an accident to the rider or other road users.

The remedy

Owners may call any authorised Honda motorcycle dealer and make an appointment to have their motorcycle repaired. This repair will take under an hour to complete and Honda will replace the affected parts at no cost to the owner.
