The defect
Due to a change in production process, the threaded connection between the piston rod and screw cap may not be sufficiently tight. If the piston rod detaches from the screw cap, this will result in damage to the inside of the fork and it may seize.

The hazard
If the defect occurs, this can impact the bikes handling and operation which could pose an accident hazard to the rider or other road users.
The remedy
The vehicle should not be ridden until inspected by an authorised HQVA(Husqvarna) dealer. Contact an authorised dealer to arrange a booking and inspection . Authorised dealers can be located at www.husqvarna-motorcycles.com.auCustomers with sold bikes will be sent an official recall notification
