The defect
The universal joint bolt on the steering column has been incorrectly tightened.

The hazard
The universal joint may become loose and cause some knocking noise. In extreme cases, it could affect the steering of the vehicle causing a possible loss of steering control or pose an accident hazard.
The remedy
Consumers will be contacted directly by Hyundai.Consumer should then return the vehicles to their Hyundai dealership to have the mount bolt re-tensioned.
