The defect

Due to a manufacturing defect, the rear brake pipe may leak brake fluid.

If the rear brake pipe leaks, this may result in a loss of braking performance or loss of braking ability, which can increase the risk of serious injury or death to vehicle occupants and other road users.

The remedy
