The defect

The surface finish on the brake hose clips may have been damaged during installation.

The hazard

It is possible that the brake hose clip(s) may rust and break, causing possible brake fluid leakage. If brake fluid leakage occurs, braking performance may be reduced.

The remedy

Mazda Australia will contact all affected customers by mail. Customers will be advised to present their vehicle to their preferred Mazda Dealer for repair at no charge.Consumers who require further information should contact Mazda Australia on 1800 034 411 or via email on customersupport@mazda.com.au
