The hazard

This could increase resistances between the busbars and thus present a fire hazard. In addition, the interruption of electrical contact of the busbars may lead to function failures. The running of the engine, belt functions and the instrument cluster could be among the components affected. This may increase the risk of an accident and also the risk of injury in the event of an accident.

The remedy

Consumers should contact their nearest Mercedes-Benz passenger car dealer to arrange an inspection and repair of the vehicle free of charge. To find your nearest Mercedes-Benz dealer, visit https://www.dealerlocator.mercedes-benz.com.au/?utm_source=bing&utm_medi
