The defect

Due to inappropriate material of the ancillary equipment V ribbed belt on the engine, the resin pulley may wear unevenly. The belt can be damaged causing it to come off.

If the defect occurs, drivers will experience an increase in steering effort, and with continued use drivers may experience a loss of electrical and drive power, posing a potential collision hazard.
