Verify before you act. Recall details and remedies can change. Our database is updated regularly but may not reflect the most recent revisions. Always confirm with vehiclerecalls.gov.au or your vehicle manufacturer before acting on the information below. Read our full disclaimer.

The defect

The hazard

If this occurs, an ABS warning lamp will illuminate to warn the driver. If the vehicle continues to be operated in this condition, the brake fluid leak may create an electrical short in the actuator circuit, which could lead to a fire.

The remedy

Affected consumers will be contacted by Nissan Australia to arrange the replacement of the ABS actuator at no cost to consumers (parts and labour).Consumers of affected vehicles are advised that if they see the ABS warning light continuously illuminated (10 seconds or longer), they should park their vehicle outside and contact Nissan Roadside Assistance for assistance.Consumers can find their nearest dealership at https://www.nissan.com.au/find-a-dealerFor further information, please contact the Nissan Customer Service Centre toll free on 1800 035 035 (Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 6pm AEST).
