The defect

The right hand door locks may not be to the manufacturer's specifications. The internal mechanism of one or more locks may jam, which could prevent one or more doors from closing or result in unexpected unlocking and opening.

The hazard

If a door lock fails it could result in injury to the occupants of the vehicle and other road users.

The remedy

Peugeot Australia will contact all known owners by mail and advise them to present their vehicle to their preferred Peugeot authorised dealer to have the right hand side door locks replaced.
