The defect

Some RAM 2500 and 3500 Trucks may have a defective tie rod bracket and mounting hardware.

The hazard

The failure of the mounting hardware may cause a noise and reduce steering response, forcing the wheel to turn in the wrong direction. This may pose an accident risk for the vehicle occupants or other road users.

The remedy
