The defect

On certain vehicles, the windshield wiper washer jets may become inoperative when driven in freezing conditions.

The hazard

If the windshield washer jets become inoperative, visibility may be reduced, increasing the risk of an accident and injury to vehicle occupants or other road users.

The remedy

Jaguar Land Rover will notify affected owners by letter to request that vehicles are brought to an authorised repairer for a replacement fuse in the windshield washer jet circuit.
