The defect

The oil pressure solenoid valve wiring was not manufactured to the required specifications, which may lead to engine failure.

The hazard

If the engine fails, the driver may experience heavier steering, loss of auxiliaries and/or need to apply much greater braking effort. This poses an increased risk of an accident and injury to the vehicle occupants and other road users.

The remedy
