The defect

As a result of driving the vehicle for a long time, a micro crack may develop in the fuel supply line hose and may result in a fuel leak.

The hazard

If the fuel supply hose develops a crack and fuel leaks, there is a possibility that fuel may ignite, resulting in a fire. This could result in an accident, leading to serious injury or death of vehicle occupants and other road users.

The remedy
