The defect

Certain affected vehicles may contain a potentially faulty secondary air pump relay.

The hazard

If the relay is faulty, the secondary air pump is powered continuously and may overheat, posing a fire risk.

The remedy

Known owners will be contacted by mail and asked to present their vehicle to their preferred Subaru Retailer for replacement of the relay at no cost.Further information can be obtained from the Subaru Customer Relations Team by telephoning 1300 550 994
