The defect

The side stand pivot bolts may fracture. This may cause the side stand to become unstable.

The hazard

If the defect occurs, the motorcycle may topple when propped on the stand, and potentially cause injury to bystanders.

The remedy

Dealers will be contacting consumers directly for a removal and replacement of the side stand pivot bolt and lock nut. For more information consumers should contact their nearest Triumph Motorcycle Dealer.
