The defect

Rear brake master cylinder connecting rod end bearing corrosion, on the affected units. Due to improper material selection for the rear brake master cylinder connecting rod small end bearing the connecting rod end bearing may become contaminated.

Corrosion.

The remedy

The customer will be required to present their machine at their nearest Honda dealer for the rear brake master cylinder connecting rod end bearing to be replaced. The dealer will carry out the work required and mark the unit as having had the affected part replaced/repaired.
