The defect

A concern may exist with the correct operation of the parking lock. This concern could arise due to a loose cup plug which enables the parking pawl anchor shaft to move rearward and prevent correct engagement of 'park' position. If this occurs and the parking brake is not applied the vehicle could roll away without warning.
