The defect

The fixing method of the electrical wiring harness connected to the Electronic Power Steering Control Unit (EPS-ECU) may be inappropriate.

The hazard

There exists the potential for the power steering function to become inoperative, resulting in an increased steering effort required by the driver.

The remedy

All owners of affected vehicles will be contacted by email at their last known address and requested to contact the nearest Mitsubishi dealer to make an appointment to have the vehicle repaired.
