The defect

The fuel tank securing straps may have been over-tightened during production, this may result in damage to the fuel tanks.

If the defect occurs, this may cause fuel leakage resulting in a hazard to other road users, and in the worst case scenario cause a fire.

The remedy

A letter will be sent to affected owners. The fuel tank will be replaced; these repairs will be carried out free of charge.For further information, please contact your local dealer.
