The defect
Under certain conditions the flexible brake hose bracket located on the front differential may fracture around the securing bolt and break, possibly resulting in the leakage of brake fluid.

The hazard
If the defect occurs, braking effectiveness is reduced, increasing the risk of a collision.
The remedy
Consumers should avoid driving on corrugated roads at speeds greater than 80kmh. Owners will receive a campaign notification by mail at their last known address to present their vehicle to a Toyota dealer for rectification at no charge to the owner.
