The defect

On a number of vehicles, the front brake pads display excessive amounts of thermal expansion, resulting in the brakes dragging under certain conditions.

The hazard

If the defect occurs, the front brakes may engage and not release, posing an accident hazard to the driver and other road users.

The remedy
