The defect

It has been found that there has been a plastic welding intensity production problem during manufacturing of the fuel filler neck assembly.

The hazard

In extreme conditions, the plastic neck may fracture after a period of time.

The remedy

Ateco is writing to affected consumer advising them to contact their authorised Great Wall Motors dealer and make an appointment for their vehicle to be inspected.
