The defect
There is a possibility that a component inside the ABS actuator may have been damaged during the assembly process and as a result may not operate as intended.

The hazard
If this occurs, under some driving conditions where ABS operation is required, this could result in a loss of vehicle stability, which can increase the risk of an accident.
The remedy
Lexus will contact impacted owners directly and make arrangements with them to inspect and if necessary replace the ABS actuator. This will be performed free of charge.
