The defect

There is no child seat strap side movement restraining tether fitted to the seat on the front 6 seating positions.

The hazard

If the vehicle is involved in an accident that causes the vehicle to roll on its side, there is a possibility the child seat strap may slide off the side of the seat, increasing the risk of injury to the child.

The remedy

A supplementary strap will be supplied to all affected customers to fit to seats required to carry child seats. The supplementary strap will prevent sideways movement of the child seat restraining strap.Customers should contact their nearest Higer dealer.
