The hazard

Where it is found that the bolted joints are not correctly tightened, there is a possibility that they could loosen over time. If this happens and the vehicle is in an accident, it may result in increased injury to vehicle occupants.

The remedy

Consumers are requested to contact their nearest authorised dealer where the specific joints identified on each affected vehicles will be checked and if loose, tightened to the correct torque.
