The defect
The right hand lower control arm to the knuckle joint in the front suspension has been incorrectly assembled. If the vehicle is exposed to a shock impact such as a deep pothole or kerb strike to the affected front wheel the front suspension may fail.

The hazard
If the front suspension fails, the affected front wheel will separate from its lower joint and create vehicle instability. This can lead to a loss of vehicle control.
