The defect
The virtual display instrument cluster goes blank intermittently. The instrument cluster will not display anything during this time, but will reset while driving.

Without displaying important information such as the vehicle's speed, there would be an increased risk of a collision.
The remedy
Jaguar Land Rover will be writing to owners with affected vehicles, requesting them to contact their preferred Jaguar Land Rover Authorised Dealer, who will update the software in the instrument cluster module.
