The defect

Individual bolted connections on the front axle may not have been tightened to the specified torque.

The hazard

The bolted connections may settle and loosen over time and can affect wheel control, which may pose a risk of injury to the vehicle occupants and other road users.

The remedy

To remedy this, the bolted connections must be checked and, if necessary, parts of the suspension must be replaced on the affected vehicles.Audi Australia Pty Ltd is contacting all known owners of affected vehicles.
