The defect

Due to the programming of the Transmission Control Module (TCM) the external noise levels may exceed the requirements of Australian Design Rule (ADR) 83/00.

The affected vehicles might not be compliant under ADR 83/00.

The remedy

Owners of affected vehicles can contact their nearest Chrysler Jeep Dodge Dealer to have the work carried, free of charge. The dealer will inspect the TCM software and update if necessary.Owners can visit https://www.chrysler.com.au/dealers.html to find their nearest authorised CJD Dealer.
