The defect

The electrical brake wiring harness connectors may become detached from the crimped terminal. This may result in a reduction in the trailer’s braking performance.

A reduction in braking performance could increase the risk of an accident causing injury or death to vehicle occupants and other road users.

The remedy

AMH Products will contact affected owners in writing, requesting that they make an appointment at their preferred repairer to have the inspection and repair carried out free of charge.
