The defect

It has been found that some vehicles with a vehicle jack that does not comply with the mandatory standard for vehicle jacks AS/NZS 2693:2007, due to incorrect labeling.

The hazard

The labels may not contain information on the correct use of jack or the correct oil specification to use in the jack. Consumers may incorrectly use the product, creating a crushing hazard.

The remedy

Owners will receive a letter instructing them to contact their preferred Foton Motor Dealer.
