The defect

Due to a manufacturing issue, the rear turn indicators may not illuminate correctly.

The hazard

If the rear turn indicators do not operate as intended, other road users may be unable to identify if the vehicle is turning. This could increase the risk of an accident causing serious injury or death to vehicle occupants and/or other road users.

The remedy

Owners will be notified and instructed to take their vehicle to an approved Jaguar Land Rover repairer to have the work carried out as soon as possible, free of charge.
