The defect

Due to a manufacturing defect, the left front suspension ball joint may have been incorrectly attached. This may result in a loss of vehicle control.

A loss of vehicle control increases the risk of an accident causing serious injuries or death to the vehicle occupants and/or other road users.

The remedy

Owners of affected vehicles can contact Polestar Customer Support or their nearest authorised Polestar Partner to have the vehicle inspected as soon as possible, and the work carried out, free of charge.
