The defect

Due to a manufacturing defect, the hose leading to the manifold air pressure sensor may become obstructed. This may lead to unstable idle and possible engine stall resulting in a loss of motive power.

A loss of motive power whilst riding increases the risk of an accident, causing serious injury or death to rider and/or passenger and other road users.
