The defect

Due to a manufacturing defect, some vehicles may have been manufactured without a reinforcing pin in the front windscreen. As a result, the windshield frame may move resulting in glass breakage.

A windshield frame moving or a possible glass breakage, increases the risk of injury to vehicle occupants.

The remedy

Owners of affected vehicles should contact their authorised Maserati dealer to have the vehicle inspected and the necessary work carried out, free of charge.
