The defect

Due to a manufacturing defect, small cracks may form in the suspension rail when towed on rough (corrugated) roads. As a result, the suspension may collapse. If this occurs, it may lead to a sudden loss of control of the caravan.

A loss of caravan control could increase the risk of an accident causing serious injury or death to vehicle occupants and other road users.

The remedy
