The defect

Due to a software issue, the Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) control module may not operate as intended. This may result in a delay in braking performance and/or an increased effort may be required to achieve the expected stopping distance.

The hazard

If the braking system does not operate as intended, it could increase the risk of an accident resulting in serious injury or death to the rider and/or passenger and other road users.

The remedy

Owners of affected motorcycles will be contacted in writing by Mojo Motorcycles. Owners can also contact their preferred Authorised CFMOTO Service Centre, to arrange for the ABS software to be updated, free of charge.Details of the CFMOTO dealer network can be found at www.cfmoto.com.au/dealer-list.
