The defect

Due to a manufacturing defect, the wiring harness connected to the handlebars may become damaged over time. If this occurs, the horn and/or the headlights may not operate as intended.

The hazard

If the vehicle headlights and/or horn do not operate as intended, it could increase the risk of an accident causing injury or death to rider and/or passenger and other road users.

The remedy

Until parts become available temporary measures are currently available to help mitigate some of the contributing factors while the necessary parts are being prepared. Please contact the nearest authorised Honda Motorcycle dealer for more information.Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted by Honda Australia Motorcycles and Power Equipment asking them to schedule an appointment to have the work carried out, free of charge.
