The defect

Some vehicles may be affected due to an incorrect software file, which may allow the driver to deactivate the passenger side airbag.

The hazard

If the passenger frontal (dash) SRS airbag device is deactivated, this may increase the risk of injury to the front passenger occupant in the event of an accident.

The remedy
