The defect

Due to a manufacturing issue, the automatic Adaptive Light System (AFS) sensors may not adjust as intended when there is a change in load or load distribution on the vehicle.

The hazard

If the vehicle headlights do not operate as intended it could increase the risk of an accident causing injury or death to vehicle occupants and other road users.

The remedy
