The defect

The front door wiring harness on your vehicle may fatigue and break. Broken wires could interrupt circuts for the side impact sensor(s), resulting in the illumination of the airbag warning lamp and loss of sensing capability.

The hazard

In the case of an accident, the potential exists for less protection to be provided by the side airbags.

The remedy

Chrysler Australia Pty Ltd will write to owners of all affected vehicles.Alternatively, contact your Chrysler, Jeep, or Dodge distributor/dealer to schedule a service appointment at your convenience.
