The hazard

Vehicles may shift into neutral on start-up, causing the vehicle to roll if on an incline. As customers are already in the vehicle on start up, this may prevent the hazard from occuring, as the foot should be on the brake on start-up.

The remedy

Chrysler will send a letter to affected owners. Chrysler dealers will perform a software update at no cost to customers to prevent the occurence.
