The defect

On certain vehicles, the wiring connection system for the cabin fan may output high heat under extended operational periods at high and medium blower speeds.

The hazard

Excessive heat in the connector may lead to melting or pose a fire hazard, which may present a risk of injury to vehicle occupants.

The remedy

Holden, on behalf of Hummer, will write to all affected customers to notify them of required action.
