The defect

Due to a manufacturing defect, one of the securing nuts on the Rear Brake Hose Flange may not be tightened to the correct specification.

The hazard

If the bolt comes loose, brake fluid may be allowed to leak out causing the rear brake to become inoperable, posing an accident hazard to the rider and other road users.

The remedy

Contact their nearest Honda Dealer and arrange to have their bike inspected and, if necessary, repaired at their earliest opportunity.
