The defect

Incorrect fitment of brake tubing or seal ring on the brake booster system.

The hazard

The incorrect fitment of parts may increase the risk of the vehicle's braking not performing correctly during the activation of electronic stability control (ESC). This may pose an increased hazard to the driver and other road users.

The remedy

A letter will be sent to affected owners. Consumer can return the vehicle to an authorised Hyundai dealership to have the vehicle inspected, and if required for the defect to be rectified.
