The defect

Panorama sunroof wind deflector plate was not secured correctly during assembly and may detach while vehicle is in motion and interfere with the sunroof glass.

The hazard

1. The deflector plate may detach from vehicle and become an obstacle to other road users.2. The deflector plate may interfere with the sunroof causing the glass to shatter.Above scenarios may increase the risk of a vehicle crash.

The remedy

Owners should return the vehicle to their authorised Hyundai dealership to have the vehicle inspected by verification of VIN and visual inspection of the part installation. If the vehicle is affected it will be repaired free of charge.For further information, phone the Hyundai Customer Care Centre on 1800 186 306.
