The defect

Due to incorrect setting of the angle detection sensor, it is possible the seatbelt will not be able to extend when the vehicle is parked on a downhill slope.

The hazard

If the defect occurs, passengers may not be able to fasten the seat belt until the vehicle has been moved to level ground, resulting in the affected seating position being inoperable until the seat belt can be extracted.

The remedy

Consumers should contact their nearest authorised Isuzu dealer to arrange for repairs.
