The defect

Certain batches have hand brake cylinders with defective machining. This can lead to early wear of the sealing cup in the hand brake cylinder, thus leading to impaired braking performance.

The remedy

The vehicle should be inspected by an authorised KTM dealer without delay. Please contact a KTM dealer to arrange a booking and inspection.Customers will be sent a recall notification letter specific to the information and the urgent requirement to have an authorised dealer check the vehicle.
